Thank you for joining us in our Inspirigirl coding classes! All classes are 100% free and taught by our amazing team of dedicated computer science teachers. We are so excited to see everyone and work with our amazing students. Please feel free to participate in as many classes as you see fit!

Intro to Python
Python is perfect for anyone interested in starting to learn computer science! If this is your first time writing code, no worries. We'll be learning about lots of different programming concepts and how to begin building your own unique projects in the language. Python has an easier learning curve, making it one of the best languages for beginner programmers to learn! We recommend Intro to Python for students in grades 4+, however, younger students are also welcome to join.

Intermediate Python
Intermediate Python is perfect for students who’ve had more experience working with Python! We recommend students have at least minimal experience writing simple functions and fully understand different data types before taking this course. This course is our follow-up on the Intro to Python course. We’ll be covering Python concepts in more detail and creating more complicated programs. We recommend Intermediate Python for students in grades 4+ or students who have fully completed Intro to Python.

Advanced Python (NOT OFFERED 2024)
Advanced Python is a new course being offered Spring 2023! This class is ideal for students who are already familiar with Python and are looking to learn real life applications of Python. Students will learn about special keywords and comprehensions to learn how to code more efficiently. We recommend Advanced Java for middle school students and older, however, younger students are also welcome to join.

Intro to Java
Intro to Java is perfect for students who want to begin branching out of Python or other languages. We will be covering unique Java concepts and teaching students how to write their own code! While Intro to Java starts from the very beginning, Java is a little more challenging for beginner students, with a slightly harder learning curve. However, no worries! We recommend Intro to Java for students in grades 4+, however, younger students are also welcome to join.

Intermediate Java (NOT OFFERED 2024)
Intermediate Java is a new course offered Spring 2023 that follows our Intro to Java course. This class is perfect for students who have taken our Intro to Java course last fall or are already familiar with some Java. We will expand on simple Java concepts and help students become more independent coders. This course goes beyond basic syntax and functions and delves deeper into vital parts of computer science, like object oriented programming. We recommend Intermediate Java for students in grades 6+, however, younger students are also welcome to join.
Web Development
Web Development is a new course being offered Spring 2023! Learn how to use HTML and CSS to create your website. We will teach students how to build their own website from scratch - without a third party website creator! Additionally, students will learn how to customize their website, from creating a layout to using buttons and integrating images . We recommend Web Development for students in grades 4+, though younger students are welcome to join.

Intro to CAD
CAD has become one of our most popular courses yet, and for a good reason! In this course, we will teach students about circuits and various sensors. Additionally, students will have the opportunity to create their own project using TinkerCAD. We recommend Intro CAD for students in grades 2+, however, younger students are also welcome to join.

Intermediate CAD (NOT OFFERED 2024)
Intermediate CAD is a new course being offered Spring 2023! In this course, we will teach students about creating different shaped objects and mating parts together. Additionally, students will have the opportunity to create their own project using Onshape. We recommend Intermediate CAD for students in grades 5+, however, younger students are also welcome to join.

Quantum Computing
Quantum Computing is a new course being offered Spring 2023! Join us on a 5 week journey to learn about qubits and explore the difference between traditional Computer Science and Quantum Computing. We recommend Quantum Computing for students in grades 8+ with a strong foundation in Math, Physics, and Computer Science.
