Executive Team
Meet our executive team below!
Hi there! I'm Jasmine, and I am the founder and director of Inspirigirl. I also work on course programming and logistics as part of our teaching coordinator team. My passion for computer science began in middle school, leading me to start Inspirigirl in December 2021 to address the lack of female and non-binary students in coding classes. My work in computer science delves into the intersections of public health and programming, and I've had the opportunity to work on many personal mobile app projects involving rehabilitation and expanding medical access. Outside of Inspirigirl, I love dancing, vlogging, developing mobile apps, and traveling.

Hey! I’m Nithia and I’m the treasurer for Inspirigirl! My role consists of managing budgets and planning fundraisers to fund our coding activities. I’ve been coding since 6th grade and was introduced to CS through a nonprofit as well! I think CS education and advocacy is very important, especially because we are moving towards a technology driven society it’s essential to bridge the gender gap moving forwards. A fun fact about me is I enjoy baking and reading in my free time!

CS can be a subject that is hard to approach or get to learn as a beginner. The various languages and concepts may be overwhelming for some. When I first started learning CS, I struggled a lot too— getting Cs and Ds on my first few AP CS tests. To me, CS education and advocacy means to give everybody an equal opportunity to take an easier approach to familiarize themselves with CS itself, and that is exactly what our team Inspirigirl is doing! CS used to be my least favorite subject, but it’s one of my favorites now!

Hi! I’m Pratyasa and I’m the business and outreach lead for Inspirigirl! I manage Inspirigirl's social media pages and look into collaborations with other organizations to grow Inspirigirl. I started coding in middle school and I really enjoyed the way it combined problem-solving and math. As I took more science classes, I realized computer science has so many applications in multiple subjects, such as biology, which is one of my favorite STEM fields. I believe everyone deserves to have an equal chance at pursuing their passions and interests regardless of their gender and financial status and I’m so glad that Inspirigirl gives people the opportunity to do that!

Hey! I’m Lucy, and I am one of the teaching coordinators of Inspirigirl. I joined inspirigirl because I wanted to help support an environment that allows girls to comfortably develop their STEM skills without the constant stigma of boys being more capable in the STEM field. I will use my power to ensure teachers at Inspirigirl are willing to show girls that they can indeed pursue a career in STEM and be successful. Computer science can be challenging, but rewarding with practice. Some fun facts about me are- I was a three sport varsity athlete last year at my school and I love to draw and program!
